Real Systems Investment Group, LLC was originally organized March 27, 2001 in Overland Park, KS as Real Systems Brokerage, LLC by Shonda Gonzales to provide real estate services and consulting for home buyers and sellers throughout Johnson County, Kansas. Shonda later expanded her services to include property management, mortgage default services, and property preservation for corporate clients including:

- UTLS Default Services, Inc. (fka LandAmerica Default Services, Inc.)
In 2007, when Shonda began servicing owner financed mortgages and lease-to-purchase transactions, she changed the name of the company to Real Systems Investment Group, LLC. Today Real Systems Investment Group, LLC is focused on supplying strategic operations, loan fulfillment, service delivery, and continuous process improvements to individual investors, smaller financial institutions and private lenders who do not have the in-house capabilities and expertise to service their own loan portfolios.
